It has been ages since we’ve last updated you all. Since we left Singapore, Ben turned 24, he graduated from UNSW, Ashley and Tally came to visit, Julia left for her adventure around the world, Alpha and Jared moved in, and we’ve made plans for yet another holiday.
After celebrating Ben’s 24th at the Forum in Leichhardt and a night out in the Cross we were celebrating yet again for his graduation ceremony on the 7th of April. Ben finished with First Class Honours in Electrical Engineering (you could see the pride in Siena’s teary eyes as Ben accepted his diploma 🙂 )!
Ashley and Tally arrived the next week to explore Sydney and most importantly visit me 😉 ! We were quite the tour guides with tight schedules so we could make the most of the little time we had with them. Unfortunately the weather did not co-operate and it rained literally the entire time they were here! We took a ferry to the city, pub crawled in the Rocks, shopped Paddington Markets, explored the (rainy!) Blue mountains, ate Yum Cha in China Town after strolling Darling Harbour, toured Palm Beach and Manly, did a surf lesson at Bondi, cocktailed at Minus 5, Opera Bar, and of course Blu Horizons, danced at King Street Wharf, and said au revoir at our Euro Trash party. It was incredible to have them visit, meet all my new friends, and show them the city I love. I can’t wait to see you girls again when I’m home in June! xxx
Uni work for me, surfing for Ben, and social engagements have filled our time for the past few weeks. We celebrated Corinne’s birthday, went to see the Chaser Variety Hour with Siena and Tk, and did the walk from Mosman to Manly for a Yum Cha lunch for Mother’s Day. I’ve had loads of work to do but there is light at the end of the tunnel as I finish in three weeks! Ben took a wonderful Communications class for week to prepare for June 16th, or D-Day as he so fondly refers to it, when work at BCG starts (although he has training his second week in Bangkok which is very exciting!!)
Ben and I are taking one last holiday in early June to the Gold Coast with James and Millie for 5 days, before I leave for a month to the States and he starts work.
Looking forward to seeing you all at home and that gorgeous summer weather!
Lots of Love,
