This morning we headed up to Glenworth Valley, about an hour north of Sydney to take part in the Warrior Dash. It is a 5 km race through an obstacle course – we climbed over walls, jumped over cars, swam across rivers, ran through thick mud (and lost our shoes!!), jumped across a fire and crawled through a mud pit under barbed wire. It was awesome fun! At the end of it we were barefoot (we ran most of the race without shoes!) and covered in mud from head to toe, but we felt like warriors 🙂 To add to the experience, we had a beer and a barbecued turkey leg to fill us up after all the exercise, and swam in the river to clean off. SO MUCH FUN!
In other exciting news, I have accepted my offer from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, so from August Jacs and I will be living in Berkeley for a few years. Can’t wait 🙂
We’re looking forward to being in the Bay Area, being able to take advantage of all California has to offer, and catching up with all our friends and family that will now be nearby. See you all soon!
